Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zell Griever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samppa Linna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linna misses with a takedown attempt
and Griever counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Griever tries a head kick but it misses.
Linna unleashes a big counter combination but Griever bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Griever keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Linna throws a lazy right hand but Griever sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Griever uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Linna throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Griever makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Griever throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Linna steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Griever.
Griever walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Some bone on bone action there as Linna checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Linna lands a nice leg kick that just misses Griever's sensitive parts.
A jab lands there for Griever.
Griever looks to score with a jab to the body but Linna is just out of range.
Linna thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Linna cracks a nice hook into Griever's ribs.
Linna misses with a looping right.
Griever throws a shot from downtown. Linna moves away and avoids it.
Linna lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Zell Griever has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Griever lands a big head kick that sends Linna to the canvas! Griever follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zell Griever!
