The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malik Ali stalks Preston and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Preston's face. Preston staggers backwards, shaken.
Preston throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Malik Ali tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Preston is in Malik Ali's guard.
Malik Ali has his feet on Preston's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Preston throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Malik Ali was covering up waiting for the punch and Preston finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Malik Ali has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Preston has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Malik Ali has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Preston is working away from the top position though.
Preston looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malik Ali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hasan Malik Ali will probably get the nod.
That's time! Malik Ali's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hasan Malik Ali.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Malik Ali, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
