Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Manners (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Manners!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manners avoids a kick to the body.
Foster tries a head kick but it misses.

and Manners counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Foster keeping moving, preventing Manners from controlling successfully.
Foster has Manners pulled in close to control his posture.

Foster on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Foster tries to get out of the position.

Manners drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Manners jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown. Manners tries to sprawl out of it but Foster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Manners manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Foster scores with the left hand. Manners knows he should have avoided that one.
Foster throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Manners.
Manners with a poor takedown

and Foster moves into the clinch.

Foster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Manners gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Foster is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tony Foster dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Manners prevents a takedown attempt there.

Foster misses with an elbow over the top.
Foster tries for a takedown. No joy.

Manners is trying to trip Foster. He has hold of a leg but Foster is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Manners persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Foster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Tony Foster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Manners gets to his feet. Foster looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Foster shoots in but Manners avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Manners shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Foster wants to get back to his feet.
Manners lands a nice shot to the head.

Manners is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Foster can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Tony Foster showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Foster has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
