Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sinbad Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sailor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sailing on the Seven Seas. Masters has chosen Simply the Best as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sinbad Sailor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Masters ! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sailor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Masters moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sailor misses with a straight right. A solid leg kick lands there for Masters .
A leg kick checked by Sailor. A good leg kick by Masters . Masters feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sailor's calf. Sailor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Masters swats him away and circles back towards the center. Masters doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Sinbad Sailor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masters throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Sailor changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Masters misses with a kick to the body.
Masters clobbers Sailor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masters throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Masters lands a jab to Sailor's midsection. Sailor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sailor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Masters throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sailor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sailor connects with a nice looking jab.
Sailor looks to land a right hand but Masters moved out of range. Masters throws a right hand that Sailor ducks under and follows up with a left that Sailor also avoids with ease. Masters throws a wild body kick that Sailor sees coming a mile off. Masters ducks under a wild hook from Sailor. Sailor listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Masters lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Sailor shoots for a takedown but Masters saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Masters tries to keep at a distance but Sailor has taken the fight into the clinch. Sailor swings wildly with an uppercut but Masters uses good head movement to avoid it. Masters is struggling to control the position. Sailor tries to throw a body punch but Masters avoids it by throwing Sailor back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters is looking to break free of the clinch but Sailor has double underhooks. Sailor gets control of Masters 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sailor will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Sailor looking for a sweep. Not yet Sailor, not yet. Masters must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sailor throws his legs up looking for a submission but Masters uses it to pass to side control.
Sailor is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Masters 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Masters seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Sailor tries to roll over but Masters keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sailor moves into full guard.
Sailor looking for a sweep. Not yet Sailor, not yet. Masters decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sailor tries to clinch up. Sailor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Masters scores with a jab to the body. Masters jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sailor swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Masters just misses with a punch to the body.
Masters tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sailor is able to avoid easily. Sailor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Masters is trying to defend but Sailor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Masters manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sailor keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Masters working hard to break the clinch. Masters fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Masters tries to circle away but Sailor has him pinned against the cage. Sailor is looking to control Masters 's arms but Masters gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sailor has his back to the cage. Masters blocks a body shot from Sailor. Sailor lands a nice shot to the body. Sailor will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Masters up against the cage. Masters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Masters throws a body shot but no joy. Sailor tries to clinch up but Masters circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Sailor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sailor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Masters with a hook. Masters slips a jab and a cross from Sailor.

Sailor tries to counter by clinching up but Masters breaks away and moves out of range. Good leg kick by Masters there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sailor with a poor takedown and Masters counters with a big head kick but Sailor shrugs it off. Sailor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sailor shoots in for a takedown but Masters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sailor fails with a takedown attempt. Masters looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sinbad Sailor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Masters circles away from the clinch attempt.
Masters lands a jab to the head.
Sailor gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sailor scores with a nice hook to the head. Sailor can't find room to land a body shot as Masters controls the action.
Masters tries to score a body lock takedown but Sailor shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sailor works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Sailor stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Masters will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sailor up against the cage. Sailor tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sailor has Masters pressed against the cage, preventing Masters from circling away and getting back to striking at range. The referee is keeping an eye on Masters - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Masters breaks the clinch.

Sailor throws a right hand that Masters ducks under and follows up with a left that Masters also avoids with ease. Masters only half commits to the counter leg kick. Masters misses with an uppercut. A punch combination from Masters misses. Sailor lands an overhand right. Sailor tests Masters 's chin there with a solid looking shot. Masters tries a head kick but it misses.
Sailor shoots in but no luck this time. Sailor goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masters throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sailor sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sailor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masters is fending him off so far but Sailor persists. Nope, Masters circles away and we're back to standing. Masters fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sailor manages to avoid it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice defenses there by Sailor. Sailor throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Masters counters with a slapping leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sailor is defended easily by Masters . Masters swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sailor is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sailor. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sailor wants to control but Masters is keeping him busy. Masters avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sailor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ken Masters will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Sailor is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nice uppercut there from Masters . Ken Masters seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sailor walks into a stiff left hand from Masters . Sailor tries to close the distance and clinch but Masters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sailor shoots for a takedown but Masters saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sailor is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Masters fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sailor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Masters lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Masters lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sailor or not. Masters is trying to push Sailor away but Sailor has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Masters has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Masters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sailor shoots in but no luck this time. Sailor avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sailor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Masters finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sailor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Masters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Masters thinks about the counter body kick. Sailor takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Masters is trying to break the clinch but Sailor is controlling him. Masters blocks a body shot from Sailor. Masters throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sailors head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Masters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sailor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Masters takes a swing at Sailor's ribcage but misses. Masters stuffs the takedown attempt from Sailor. Sailor gets slowly back to his feet. Masters looks to land a right hand but Sailor moved out of range. Sailor getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sailor throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Masters to counter with a crisp jab. Sailor is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Masters 's half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sailor. Sailor throwing shots but Masters is blocking nicely. Sailor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Masters sees it coming and defends easily. Sailor lands with a punch from half guard. Sinbad Sailor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ken Masters is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sailor is working for a kimura but Masters is defending it quite comfortably.

Masters kicks off Sailor and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masters throws a nice inside leg kick. Sailor avoids the head kick by Masters .
Masters takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Sailor tries to clinch up. Sailor on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Sailor takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sailor tries to clinch but Masters moves away and Masters counters with a lovely straight right hand! Masters throws a jab but it's blocked by Sailor. This has been an exciting period of action! Sailor misses with a takedown attempt - Masters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sailor doesn't manage to clinch there - Masters circles away.
Masters appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Masters comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sailor thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that's the end of the fight! Ken Masters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Masters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
