Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humphrey Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok has chosen Killing in the name of... as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lodbrok has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Humphrey Baker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ivar Lodbrok's chin.

With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivar Lodbrok!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Baker.
Lodbrok looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Baker fails to land with a series of punches.
Baker jabs at Lodbrok's body.
Baker connects with a body shot that sends Lodbrok's belly button to the back.
Lodbrok looks winded!
Baker jabs Lodbrok to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baker throws a right hand that misses
letting Lodbrok counter with a right hand.
Baker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lodbrok on the side of the head.
Baker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Baker feints and then cracks Lodbrok's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lodbrok down.

Baker thows a left - swing and a miss!
Baker misses with a body shot.
Lodbrok appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Lodbrok misses with an uppercut. Baker saw that one coming.
Baker jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Lodbrok throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baker.
Baker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lodbrok sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Baker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lodbrok. That did some damage!
A head kick misses from Lodbrok.

Lodbrok misses with a low kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Baker misses its target.

Lodbrok rushes Baker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Baker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Lodbrok misses the target.
Baker throws the left hand but Lodbrok avoids the punch easily.
Baker connects with a right hand. Lodbrok shakes it off.
Nice body kick there by Lodbrok.
Baker keeps Lodbrok at a distance using the push kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lodbrok throws a right hand that Baker ducks under and follows up with a left that Baker also avoids with ease.
Lodbrok looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Baker lands a big uppercut and Lodbrok crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lodbrok looks OK. Baker waves Lodbrok back to his feet!

Lodbrok is rocked!

It looks like Ivar Lodbrok has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Baker.
Lodbrok is still on wobbly legs! Can Baker finish him?
Lodbrok scores with a nice head shot.
Baker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Lodbrok seems to have recovered his senses.

Baker stuns Lodbrok with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Good leg kick by Baker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Baker throws a hook to the side of Lodbrok's head but Lodbrok sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A little jabbing left from Lodbrok on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Baker feints and then cracks Lodbrok's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lodbrok down.
Baker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baker throws a nice outside leg kick.
Baker works Lodbrok's body with a nice hook.
Baker lands a glancing blow to the side of Lodbrok's head.
Baker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baker throws a right and a left that Lodbrok avoids nicely.
Lodbrok wants to counter with a clinch but Baker pushes him away.
Lodbrok misses with a right hand
and Baker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ivar Lodbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baker throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Lodbrok crashing down! Lodbrok tries to stagger back to his feet but Baker just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Lodbrok asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Humphrey Baker!
