Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miller Gozu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Poorly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller Gozu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gozu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Poorly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gozu tries to counter by clinching up but Poorly breaks away and moves out of range.
Poorly tries a head kick but it misses.
Poorly misses with a head kick.
Poorly moves to clinch but Gozu breaks away

and Gozu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Poorly won't be happy with that.

Gozu stands up and beckons Poorly to his feet.
Gozu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gozu on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Poorly. Poorly obviously looking to wear him down.

and Gozu counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gozu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Poorly uses from the top position.
Poorly wants to stand but Gozu has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Poorly stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Gozu throws up his legs and catches Poorly in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Poorly tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Gozu! That came out of nowhere!
