Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Varella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larson Picker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larson Picker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Rafael Varella has been cut.
Varella throws a jab when Picker was well out of range.
Varella avoids the body shot from Picker.
Picker stalks Varella and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Varella's face. Varella staggers backwards, shaken.
Picker throws a shot to the body.
Varella misses with a low kick.
Picker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Varella looks to score with a jab to the body but Picker is just out of range.
Picker lands a head shot.
Varella tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Picker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Varella doesn't seem bothered though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Picker slaps away a takedown attempt from Varella, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Picker throws out a counter right but Varella avoids it with no problem.
Varella gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Picker.
Varella closes the distance and clinches.
Varella can't find room to land a body shot as Picker controls the action.
Varella pulls guard effortlessly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Varella is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Varella wants to pass the guard but Picker is defending well.
Varella is taking a breather. Picker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Varella is working for a submission of some sort.

Picker wants to get back to his feet.
Varella is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Varella wants to work for an arm triangle but Picker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Picker tries to kick Varella off but Varella keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Varella is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Picker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Varella.
Varella passes the guard and advances to mount!
Picker is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Varella wants to control the pace but Picker is squirming around nicely.
Picker has left one of his arms exposed and Varella doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Picker screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
