Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Franklin has managed to clinch.
Swanson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Franklin after a bit of a struggle.
Franklin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Swanson up against the cage.
Swanson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Franklin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Swanson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Franklin misses with a knee to the head.
Franklin stops a takedown attempt from Swanson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darryl Swanson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Franklin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Swanson walks away with a smile on his face. Franklin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Franklin avoids the head kick by Swanson.
Franklin swats away the attempt to clinch by Swanson.

Franklin moves into the clinch successfully.
Swanson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Franklin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Swanson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Franklin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Franklin has hold of one of Swanson's legs. Swanson is fighting the takedown attempt but Franklin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Swanson is looking to stand back up but Franklin counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Swanson.

Swanson wants to control but Franklin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Franklin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Swanson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Franklin is looking to stall in half guard but Swanson is in no mood to hang around. He's locked up a Kimura from the bottom and has used it to sweep! He's held on to the kimura and is looking to finish here... will he get it... YES! Franklin taps out and the crowd goes crazy! Great finish!
