The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudworth throws a sloppy head kick and Mills moves out of range easily.
Mills looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Mills takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sudworth throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mills throws a counter high kick but Sudworth was just alert enough to avoid it.
Mills walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sudworth.
Sudworth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A head kick misses from Sudworth.
Mills checks a leg kick nicely.
Sudworth throws a head kick but Mills moves out of range.
Mills lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
A head kick by Sudworth misses
and Mills counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sudworth is looking to stand back up but Mills counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sudworth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mills is trying for a kimura here. Sudworth looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mills wins by kimura!
