Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alvaro Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keijo Kouhia!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt.

so Sanchez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kouhia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kouhia postures up and lands a big shot to Sanchez's brow.

Sanchez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

BOOM! Sanchez connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sanchez jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kouhia is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kouhia and Sanchez has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kouhia gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Kouhia is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sanchez pulls his head out easily.

Sanchez has his foot on Kouhia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kouhia works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kouhia drops back looking for a leg! Sanchez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanchez manages to kick Kouhia off! Kouhia jumps back into Sanchez's guard.

Kouhia has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sanchez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kouhia has tightened it up now! Sanchez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
