Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kimbo hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to River Below by Billy Talent. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, kimbo hayes! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! hayes shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense. Williams stuffs the takedown. hayes fails in his attempt to clinch. Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. hayes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Williams scores with a takedown into hayes's guard. hayes wants to stand up but Williams is controlling him. Williams looking to control the position here, rather than advance. hayes is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. Williams stands up and waves to hayes to follow him. Williams drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams stands up from hayes's guard - Williams perhaps looking for a knockout. Williams throws a right and a left that hayes avoids nicely. hayes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in hayes's guard now. hayes is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. hayes looks gassed! hayes has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Williams off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. hayes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Williams scores a takedown into full mount! hayes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. hayes is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Williams takes hayes's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, hayes is in trouble. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! hayes looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Williams has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. hayes is defending well but eventually Williams manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! hayes has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
