0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Train! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul drops Train with a right and a left! Paul comes rushing in but Train regains his composure and manages to keep Paul in guard.
It looks like Mike Train has been cut. Paul prevents Train from getting back to his feet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Paul's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paul postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Train tries to land a sweep but no joy. Paul connects with a couple of short punches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Paul trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Paul postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Paul working some strikes from top position. Paul looking to pass the guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paul works his foot free and advances to mount. Train is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
