The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Takeshi.
Takeshi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yasumi.
Yasumi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Takeshi defends it well.
Ichi Takeshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick from Takeshi lands but Yasumi takes it in his stride.
Takeshi tries for a takedown but Yasumi circles away easily
and as Takeshi loses concentration momentarily, Yasumi counters with a picture perfect head kick! Takeshi goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
