Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riddles rushes Barros and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Riddles manages to break the clinch.
Barros looks for a takedown but Riddles sprawls well.
Barros fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Riddles drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Barros has a closed guard, preventing Riddles from standing up.
Barros is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Riddles trying to control but Barros is working from the bottom.

Riddles decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Riddles cracks Barros with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Riddles clinches up with Barros and pushes him back against the cage.

Barros has Riddles pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Barros pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Riddles tumbling to the mat - Barros dives into Riddles's guard.

Barros is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barros trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Riddles has his foot on Barros's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barros works his way back into a safe position though.
Riddles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barros. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Riddles looking to control but Barros passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barros is tying to control. Riddles wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Riddles should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Barros is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Riddles is just riding it out for now. Barros eventually gives up the hold.

Barros in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Riddles tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Barros!
