Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Schweibert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aaron Schweibert! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schweibert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Johnson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schweibert manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts. Schweibert wants to get back to full guard. Johnson is working for a submission of some sort.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Schweibert has managed to free his arm - good work. Schweibert is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson prevents Schweibert from improving his position. Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schweibert is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Schweibert is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Johnson preventing the sweep. Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Schweibert bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard.
Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schweibert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schweibert manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schweibert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Johnson looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Schweibert thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Johnson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Schweibert advances nicely into full mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson is trying desperately to improve position. Johnson is in a horrible position here. Schweibert smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Johnson regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aaron Schweibert will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Schweibert wants to sweep but no luck. Johnson stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Schweibert has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Johnson manages to get his head free but now Schweibert has transitioned to an armbar! Johnson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Schweibert! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
