The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pennianenko misses with a wild combination.
Mcdowell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
St Pennianenko scores with a takedown into Mcdowell's guard. St Pennianenko gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. St Pennianenko rushes Mcdowell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. St Pennianenko stops a takedown attempt from Mcdowell.
Mcdowell has St Pennianenko pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. St Pennianenko manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. St Pennianenko is looking to break free of the clinch but Mcdowell has double underhooks. Mcdowell missing with knees to the body.
St Pennianenko has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mcdowell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! St Pennianenko is not going to allow Mcdowell to sit and survive in this position.

St Pennianenko controls the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcdowell trying to control the action but St Pennianenko just sinks the hooks in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. St Pennianenko trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Mcdowell doesn't escape. Mcdowell is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson St Pennianenko dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
St Pennianenko lands a lovely overhand right. Mcdowell lands with a kick to the temple. St Pennianenko shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Anderson St Pennianenko has been cut. St Pennianenko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. St Pennianenko showed some decent athleticism there. Mcdowell gets back to full guard.
Mcdowell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as St Pennianenko controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcdowell had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. St Pennianenko is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mcdowell Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take St Pennianenko's back instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Pennianenko defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. St Pennianenko defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mcdowell's arms. St Pennianenko turns into Mcdowell and is now in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pennianenko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mcdowell is trying to keep St Pennianenko in close.
St Pennianenko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A head kick misses from Mcdowell. Mcdowell wants to clinch and St Pennianenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Mcdowell throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
St Pennianenko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. St Pennianenko stands up from Mcdowell's guard - St Pennianenko perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Anderson St Pennianenko will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Anderson St Pennianenko's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mcdowell tries to clinch and St Pennianenko counters by clinching up. Mcdowell misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from St Pennianenko.

Mcdowell throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but St Pennianenko blocks it with crossed arms. Mcdowell is trying to break free. Mcdowell with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
St Pennianenko tries to break the clinch but Mcdowell is controlling the position. Mcdowell is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but St Pennianenko is keeping busy. Mcdowell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St Pennianenko wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mcdowell with a knee to the head.
St Pennianenko is trying to trip Mcdowell. He has hold of a leg but Mcdowell is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. St Pennianenko persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Mcdowell controls St Pennianenko momentarily but St Pennianenko frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pennianenko prevents Mcdowell from getting back to his feet. Mcdowell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but St Pennianenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mcdowell working for a triangle but St Pennianenko defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mcdowell is working an open guard so St Pennianenko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcdowell wants to clinch but St Pennianenko slips to the side and St Pennianenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Mcdowell looking for subs off his back but St Pennianenko has passed one foot through into half guard.
St Pennianenko trying to control the pace. Anderson St Pennianenko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Anderson St Pennianenko showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for St Pennianenko, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
