Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Creep. Mendez has chosen Trap Door as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tiago Mendez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez ducks under a wild hook from McClane.
Mendez closes the distance and clinches.
Mendez manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McClane won't allow Mendez to sweep him here.
Mendez scrambles and gets back to his feet.
McClane cracks Mendez with an open hand slap.
McClane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mendez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Mendez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McClane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Mendez is tightening it up a little... McClane has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McClane reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McClane taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mendez!
