Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Bost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royce Gracie had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bost closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bost tightens his grip and picks Gracie up, before dumping him to the ground. Gracie manages to land in guard.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bost slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bost gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bost content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bost lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gracie quite badly. Gracie pulls Bost in close trying to recover. Bost postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gracie on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gracie doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
