The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cricket drops Wres with a beautiful combination! Wres stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cricket is looking for the KO!
Wres is rocked!
It looks like Rafael Wres has been cut.
Wres bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oh Wres is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wres fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wres seems to have got his legs back now.
Wres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cricket tries to avoid it but Wres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cricket to the ground. Cricket escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wres closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cricket circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Wres. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cricket jabs at Wres's body.
Wres is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cricket knocks Wres to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Cricket decides to stand back up. Cricket steps back and let's Wres get back to his feet.
Cricket lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Wres crumples to the floor! Cricket milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
