Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Amaral! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Jalkalukko! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalkalukko misses with a leg kick and Jalkalukko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jalkalukko thows a leg kick but Amaral checks it and Amaral counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jalkalukko is rocked! Jalkalukko lands with a hook. Amaral tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jalkalukko is still on wobbly legs! Can Amaral finish him? Jalkalukko drops his hands momentarily. Amaral doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Jalkalukko staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Jalkalukko doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
