Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerald Dyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Swift!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swift drives through and clinches with Dyer against the cage.
Dyer tries to break free but Swift pushes him back against the cage.

Swift manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Swift wants to sweep here but Dyer controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dyer is fighting to break Swift's control of his arms but Swift is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Swift wants to stand and escape but Dyer is having none of it.
Swift is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Swift tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
What can Dyer do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Swift is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Dyer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Swift just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
You can see the frustration on Dyer's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Swift has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
What can Dyer do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well Swift has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
