Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ruud Gullit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jong Un Kim!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Kim has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Gullit goes for a double leg but Kim avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kim continues to drive forward.

Gullit tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gullit pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gullit is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kim is surviving well by controlling Gullit's body position as best he can.

Kim tries to lock up and control but Gullit gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gullit tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kim is squirming around, avoiding Gullit's attempts to control the action.

Kim manages to regain half guard. Good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jong Un Kim will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Gullit throws a right and a left that both miss.

Gullit doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gullit.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kim shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kim lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gullit misses with a double jab
and Kim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gullit was well out of range. Poor timing from Kim.

Gullit swings widly with a right hand
and Kim counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kim throws a low kick but Gullit moves out of range easily.
Kim feints and then cracks Gullit's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gullit down.
Kim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gullit manages to avoid it.
Gullit waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kim.
Kim lands with an overhand left.
Kim scores with a decent looking hook.
Gullit takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gullit avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kim has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Gullit misses with a hook
and Kim makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kim drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gullit right on the button. Gullit goes down! Kim follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Kim gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jong Un Kim!
