Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Juan Matus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matus comes to the cage accompanied by Crow Spirit. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matus throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
It seemed like Saibot was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Matus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Matus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Zoo in the buildup to the fight.
Saibot throws a jab when Matus was well out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Matus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Saibot stuns Matus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Saibot misses with a looping left.
Saibot connects with a body shot that sends Matus's belly button to the back.
A telegraphed right hand from Saibot misses the target.
Noob Saibot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matus slips a straight right by Saibot.
Saibot lands the left hand.
Matus throws a jab but it's blocked by Saibot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matus gets off balance looking for a body kick
so Saibot counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saibot wants to control from the top but Matus keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matus is on top in guard.
Saibot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Matus reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Matus taps out! Nice BJJ there by Saibot!
