The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Falcao.
Corll takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Corll with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Falcao to score with a decent uppercut.
Falcao connects with a single shot there.
A big right from Falcao misses.
Corll went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've been informed that Falcao has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Corll lands an overhand right.
Falcao cracks the inside of Corll's front leg.
Corll misses with a looping left.
Corll connects with a crisp jab.
Corll tries to move into range but Falcao moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Falcao counters with a crisp one two that drops Corll! Falcao thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Corll to his feet! Corll is in big trouble!

and Falcao counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Corll thinking.
Corll takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A left lands for Falcao.

Falcao scores with a sloppy right hand. Corll should have avoided that one.
Corll misses with a low kick as Falcao jumps back.
Falcao cracks Corll with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Corll is rocked!
Falcao goes for a small jab and connects. Now Falcao goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Corll stumbles back but Falcao runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Corll to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Corll will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Esquiva Falcao!
A relieved looking Esquiva Falcao thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
