Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Predator Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amitraghat Nagarjun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu-Jitsu. Nagarjun has chosen 2Pac – Scared Straight as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Predator Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Amitraghat Nagarjun!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns throws a lazy right hand but Nagarjun sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nagarjun throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Burns checks the leg kick.
Nagarjun throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Burns displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nagarjun throws out the jab.
Burns drops his hands momentarily and Nagarjun takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Nagarjun.
A big right from Burns misses.
Burns feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nagarjun's calf.
We've been hearing reports that Burns has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nagarjun. Burns does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns blocks a low kick nicely.
Nagarjun fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burns looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Nagarjun has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Burns is working away from the top position though.

Nagarjun throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Burns slips a straight right by Nagarjun.

Burns closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Burns lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Burns pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Burns takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Nagarjun is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Burns pulls his head out easily.
Burns wants to take a breather but Nagarjun is having none of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burns, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
