Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hans Gruber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Cieslak! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cieslak clinches up with Gruber and pushes him back against the cage. Gruber stalling.
Gruber gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cieslak regains guard.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gruber lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gruber looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gruber lands a nice short elbow. Gruber controlling the action here. Gruber sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cieslak defending well though. Gruber with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Further stalling from Gruber.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gruber throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cieslak taking some punishment here, with Gruber in his half guard. Cieslak is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gruber scores with a couple of nice shots. Cieslak is still in real trouble! Can Gruber finish him? Gruber scores with a big shot! Cieslak's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Cieslak! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
