Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack MacDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Atkinson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atkinson misses with a series of wild punches.

MacDonald will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Atkinson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. MacDonald shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack MacDonald. That's going to take a lot out of him. Atkinson stuffs the takedown attempt from MacDonald. MacDonald gets slowly back to his feet. MacDonald shoots in for a takedown but Atkinson shows good takedown defense. MacDonald shoots in and bounces Atkinson off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. MacDonald is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. MacDonald's corner is telling him to maintain position. Atkinson wants to stand but MacDonald is controlling the position.

We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Atkinson is trying to control the position but MacDonald postures up. Atkinson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. MacDonald content to stall in guard here. Atkinson keeping moving, preventing MacDonald from controlling successfully. Atkinson has MacDonald pulled in close to control his posture.

MacDonald stays in close to Atkinson's body and controls the position. MacDonald preventing the sweep. MacDonald is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jack MacDonald just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Atkinson misses with the combination.
MacDonald closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. MacDonald controlling the action here. MacDonald trying to mount his opponent but Atkinson defends it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Atkinson can do anything to dispel that myth. MacDonald not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. MacDonald is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Atkinson wants to control but MacDonald is keeping busy and won't allow it. Atkinson wants to improve his position but MacDonald is controlling well.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Atkinson for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

MacDonald takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Atkinson scores with a nice strike. MacDonald tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Atkinson swivels and escapes. MacDonald looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Atkinson throws a series of strikes that have MacDonald backpedaling.
It looks like Jack MacDonald has been cut. Atkinson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Atkinson. MacDonald drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Atkinson is pushing MacDonald's head away, looking to escape. MacDonald manages to hold on to the position though. MacDonald controlling the position. MacDonald wants to control for a moment but Atkinson uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacDonald tries to roll over but Atkinson keeps him under control. It looks like Atkinson is going to stand back up.
MacDonald is concentrating on defense, preventing Atkinson from advancing position. MacDonald is looking for a sweep. Atkinson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. MacDonald is looking to control Atkinson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can MacDonald avoid being mounted? MacDonald is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. MacDonald moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Atkinson preventing the sweep. MacDonald is trying to control the position but Atkinson postures up. MacDonald wants to sweep here but Atkinson controlling him for the moment. Atkinson wants to control from the top but MacDonald keeps moving.

"Ole!" shouts Atkinson as he jumps to the side. Atkinson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Atkinson has his takedown stuffed and MacDonald counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Atkinson trying to hold on to MacDonald's head to control him but MacDonald postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacDonald performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Atkinson is staying active underneath MacDonald, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Atkinson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jack MacDonald's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

MacDonald misses with a takedown attempt and Atkinson counters with a thumping low kick. Atkinson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Atkinson works over MacDonald's head and body with a nice combination. MacDonald closes this distance looking for a takedown but Atkinson circles away. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Atkinson!
MacDonald stuffs the takedown attempt from Atkinson. Atkinson gets slowly back to his feet. MacDonald showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Atkinson.
MacDonald closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Atkinson to the mat! Atkinson manages to get full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. MacDonald trying to control but Atkinson is working from the bottom. Atkinson controls MacDonald momentarily but MacDonald frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacDonald showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Atkinson trying to keep a closed guard but MacDonald is proving a slippery customer.
MacDonald stops Atkinson from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Atkinson working for a triangle but MacDonald defends it easily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. MacDonald feints and as Atkinson raises his hands in defense, MacDonald changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. MacDonald controls from within his opponent's guard. Atkinson looking for a guillotine here but MacDonald defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. MacDonald showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Atkinson wants to stand up but MacDonald is controlling him. MacDonald controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jack Atkinson. I think Atkinson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
