Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chrissie Balisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Winston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chrissie Balisi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oliver Winston! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Balisi does no damage. Balisi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Winston moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chrissie Balisi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Balisi stuffs the takedown. Balisi misses with a two punch combination.
Sloppy strikes from Balisi. Those never looked like landing. A combination from Balisi does no damage. Balisi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Winston is looking for the big counter here. Winston instigates a clinch. Winston has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Balisi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Balisi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Balisi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Balisi wants to get back to striking at distance but Winston won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Balisi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Winston turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Winston manages to end up in side control. Balisi tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Winston is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Balisi has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Winston has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Balisi taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Winston doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Oliver Winston!
