Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benny Chaos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Dye! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaos swats away the attempt to clinch by Dye. Chaos scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Michael Dye has been cut. Chaos darts in looking for a takedown but Dye gets double underhooks and turns Chaos into the cage. Dye is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chaos looks to land a combination. Dye sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Dye gets a takedown into half guard. Chaos is trying to stand up here but Dye is controlling him well. Chaos flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Chaos wants to improve his position but Dye is controlling well.
Dye wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chaos keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaos keeps control of the position for the meantime. Chaos moves into full guard.
Dye postures up.
Dye wants to get up but he can't break Chaos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Chaos seems keen to control Dye's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Chaos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dye wants to clinch but Chaos slips to the side and Chaos counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Chaos is trying to work for a kimura but Dye is defending well.
Dye is trying to control but Chaos manages to pass to mount!
Chaos raining down shots from the mount! Chaos trying to control but Dye is having none of it. Chaos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dye is surviving well by controlling Chaos's body position as best he can. Chaos controlling his opponent. Dye working to try and regain half guard.
Chaos manages to capitalize on a mistake by Dye to take his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dye trying to control but not successfully. Dye is in bad spot here.
Chaos thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Chaos controlling well, preventing Dye from escaping the position.
Will Chaos go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Dye manages to reverse the position and now he's in Chaos's guard. Nice work there by Dye.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chaos keeping moving, preventing Dye from controlling successfully. Chaos manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dye. Chaos shrugs it off though. Chaos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chaos tries to clinch but Dye moves out of range. Dye throws a right and a left that both miss. Horrible takedown attempt by Chaos or perhaps it was just good defense by Dye, which made it look bad. Dye will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Chaos instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dye tries for a takedown. No joy.
Chaos is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dye is keeping busy. Dye is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chaos is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dye to the mat. Dye regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dye controls Chaos momentarily but Chaos frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaos trying to control the position from guard on top but Dye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chaos throws a big elbow that misses. Dye is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chaos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dye can do to turn this around? Chaos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Chaos here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dye is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chaos defends well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dye throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Dye throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chaos was covering up waiting for the punch and Dye finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dye preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chaos has a closed guard, preventing Dye from standing up. Chaos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chaos looking for a guillotine here but Dye defends easily.

Chaos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chaos seems keen to control Dye's posture. Dye tries to free his leg and advance position but Chaos is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's got his arms around Chaos's waist but Chaos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dye off to one side. Chaos pushes Dye up against the cage in a clinch. Dye trying to control the position but instead, Chaos has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dye into the cage. Dye has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaos tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Dye avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Chaos scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Chaos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dye swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chaos stands up from Dye's guard - Chaos perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dye changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chaos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Chaos throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Chaos gets caught flat footed, as Dye shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Chaos is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dye presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dye tries to break free but Chaos pushes him back against the cage. Dye pressing his opponent against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dye takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaos is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Dye manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Chaos. No joy for Dye on that attempt. Chaos seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Chaos drives through with a takedown into Dye's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Chaos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dye swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dye tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! Benny Chaos showed his dominance in that final round. Well Chaos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
