Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leopoldo Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Munoz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Leopoldo Jensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Munoz!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz throws a low kick but Jensen moves out of range easily.
Jensen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Munoz throws a head kick that Jensen semi-blocks.
Munoz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jensen's head.
Munoz moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Munoz throws a hook to the side of Jensen's head but Jensen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Munoz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Munoz looks winded!
Jensen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Munoz throws a push kick but Jensen slaps the foot to one side.
As Munoz tries to get set, Jensen tries to push him back and clinch up but Munoz manages to avoid the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munoz shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Jensen pushes Munoz up against the cage in a clinch.
Munoz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jensen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Munoz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jensen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Munoz scores with a head kick. Jensen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A solid leg kick lands there for Munoz.

Jensen closes the distance and clinches.
Munoz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jensen stalls.

Jensen is trying to keep Munoz in close.

Jensen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jensen has a closed guard, preventing Munoz from standing up.

Jensen is pulling down on Munoz's head to control his posture.

Jensen has his feet on Munoz's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Jensen misses with the combination.
We've been informed that Munoz has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Munoz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Jensen gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jensen manages to break the clinch.

Jensen closes the distance and clinches.

Jensen jumps guard and drags Munoz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jensen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jensen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jensen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Jensen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Munoz thinking.

Jensen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Munoz.
Munoz is breathing heavily.

Jensen takes the fight into the clinch.
Jensen wants a takedown but no success here.

Jensen jumps into guard, dragging Munoz to the mat.
Jensen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Munoz manages to get himself to full guard.

Jensen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Munoz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jensen is nestled in close to Munoz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Munoz is not content to let Jensen control the position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jensen in particular looking to stall.
Jensen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Munoz can do to turn this around?

Munoz gets tackled into the cage by Jensen. Jensen maintains the clinch.

Munoz wants to stand and escape but instead Jensen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Jensen stands and throws Munoz's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jensen grinds an elbow into Munoz's temple.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Jensen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munoz keeps working.
Jensen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Munoz down.
Jensen misses with the ground and pound.
Jensen is looking to take a break and control but Munoz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Munoz takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jensen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jensen throws a strike aimed at the side of Munoz's head but Munoz avoids it well.
Jensen scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Munoz to see if he's OK.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Jensen gets control of Munoz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jensen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jensen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Jensen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Leopoldo Jensen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jensen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
