Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Penn's choice of entrance music: BJ Penn Entrnace. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Diago Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayden Penn! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Penn but Penn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sanchez shoots for a takedown but Penn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sanchez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. Despite being in the dominant position, Jayden Penn just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanchez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt and Penn counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is defending well. Sanchez tries to get to full guard but Penn has control of the leg. Sanchez is looking to control Penn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanchez avoid being mounted? Sanchez is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Penn pulls his head out easily. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Penn content to control rather than advance. Penn passes to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jayden Penn dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sanchez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses. Sanchez with a poor takedown and Penn counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sanchez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Penn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sanchez. A lull in the action here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn works to advance to full mount. Sanchez defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Penn is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Sanchez has his takedown stuffed and Penn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diago Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez is in trouble now - Penn has advanced to mount! Penn controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn prevents Sanchez from getting the reversal. Penn stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Penn scores with a decent looking hook. Sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Penn counter with a right hand. Penn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Penn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sanchez can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn looking to secure an arm triangle but Sanchez defends it well. Penn controlling from mount. Penn is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Sanchez looks to clinch and Penn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now. Penn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position. Sanchez is looking to stand up but Penn isn't so interested in that idea. Penn content to stall in guard here. Penn has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jayden Penn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Penn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sanchez at a distance.
Sanchez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Penn counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Penn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Penn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Penn pulls Sanchez in to control the position. Sanchez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Penn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Sanchez is looking to stand up but Penn won't let him. Penn looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Penn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn pulls Sanchez in close to prevent any damage. Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Penn is keeping the position. Penn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Penn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sanchez tries to reverse the position but Penn maintains control. Jayden Penn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Penn controlling from the full mount. Sanchez flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

And that's the end of the fight! Jayden Penn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Penn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
