Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Glover is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Cox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Don Glover! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cox scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. I wouldn't like to be where Glover is right now. Glover is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Glover is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Glover trying to hold on to Cox's head to control him but Cox postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cox takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Cox prevents Glover from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cox looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Cox working the head and body with strikes. Glover wants to get back to full guard. Cox seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cox thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Glover's head. Glover wants to control but Cox is keeping busy.
Glover tries to get to full guard but Cox has control of the leg. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Glover preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Glover shoots in for a double leg but Cox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Glover shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cox sprawls well. Cox wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Glover gets slowly back to his feet. Cox keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. James Cox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Glover. Glover misses with a takedown and Cox counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Don Glover has been cut. Horrible takedown attempt by Glover or perhaps it was just good defense by Cox, which made it look bad. Cox fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Glover, pushing him back against the ropes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glover is trying to force a seperation but Cox has the dominant position. Glover breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck for Glover with that takedown attempt. Cox is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Glover is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Glover fails to land the takedown. Glover drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cox trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Glover trying to control the position from guard on top but Cox is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Glover stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cox swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cox is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Glover won't allow Cox to pass to mount. Cox missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Cox is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Glover is just riding it out for now. Cox eventually gives up the hold. Glover trying to control but Cox postures up.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Glover is looking for a sweep. Cox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cox controlling the action here. Glover is concentrating on defense, preventing Cox from advancing position.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Glover wants to improve his position but Cox is controlling well.
Cox is trying to control the action in half guard but Glover is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Glover wants to improve his position but Cox is controlling well.

Glover shoots for a double leg takedown but Cox sprawls well. He's pushed Glover's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cox gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Glover to score an easy takedown into full guard. Glover wants to control from the top but Cox keeps moving.

Cox is really struggling to control Glover but he's trying to hold on to the position. Cox tries to land a sweep but no joy. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Glover working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Cox wants to stand up but Glover is controlling him. Glover is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Don Glover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glover fails with the takedown. Glover shoots in for a double leg but Cox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Glover misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! No luck for Glover with that takedown attempt. Glover tries to sprawl but Cox drives through with a takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Cox dominated that round. The cut man is working on Don Glover's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Glover shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cox but Cox pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cox wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Cox misses with a wild combination.
Cox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Glover can do to turn this around? Glover fails with a takedown attempt. Cox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Glover doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cox counters with a series of strikes. Glover will be more careful next time no doubt. James Cox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cox wants it to stay on the feet. Glover shoots for a takedown but Cox saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cox tries to counter with a takedown but Glover is quick to defend against it. Glover tries to keep at a distance but Cox has taken the fight into the clinch. Glover goes for a takedown attempt but Cox pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Glover is breathing heavily. Glover shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cox defends it nicely. A little feinted left hand from Cox on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Glover dives in for a single leg takedown but Cox sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Cox looking to score a takedown here. Glover is defending well but Cox drives through and ends up in Glover's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cox accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cox controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Glover keeping moving, preventing Cox from controlling successfully. Cox preventing the sweep. That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Glover is trying to control the position but Cox postures up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Glover is on top in guard.

Glover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cox's waist but Cox gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glover off to one side. Cox stuffs the takedown attempt from Glover. Glover gets slowly back to his feet. Don Glover has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! James Cox is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Glover looks to land a combination. Cox sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
And that's the end of the fight! James Cox showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cox has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
