The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward takes the fight into the clinch.
Woodward breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sudworth scores with a kick to the body.
Sudworth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Sudworth looks to move away, Woodward throws a big counter combo but Sudworth just gets out of the way.
Woodward scores with a takedown into Sudworth's guard.
Woodward drops back looking for a leg! Sudworth is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sudworth manages to kick Woodward off! Woodward jumps back into Sudworth's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sudworth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Woodward advances to half guard.
Woodward in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sudworth tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Woodward!
