Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Montgomery Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Dole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into the arena with Swagga' Like Us blaring out of the sound system. Bob Dole has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Montgomery Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Dole! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dole moves away from the strike by Burns. Dole decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dole is keen to just control but Burns is a slippery customer. Burns is trying to control but can't.
Burns won't allow Dole to pass to mount. Dole is keen to just control but Burns is a slippery customer. Burns wants to improve his position but Dole is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dole is figuring out what he wants to do next. Dole is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Burns tries to get to full guard but Dole has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A big left from Burns misses. Dole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Burns! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dole sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Burns tries to reverse the position but Dole maintains control. Dole wants to finish this one by submission but Burns is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dole. Dole has hold of Burns's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Burns manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dole working for a guillotine from mount but Burns is in no mood to give up. Dole looks gassed! Burns tries to control Dole's body but Dole pushes him off. Burns squirms to his side and now Dole has his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns fending off the submission attempt from Dole. Burns turns into Dole and is now in his guard.
Burns wants to control from the top but Dole keeps moving. Burns trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dole throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dole is not content to let Burns control the position. Burns is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Burns working for a guillotine from mount but Dole is in no mood to give up. Dole is desperately trying to improve his position but Burns has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burns can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dole is looking to escape. Burns controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Dole dominated that round. That's time! Burns's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Burns looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burns tries to clinch but Dole is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns has his takedown stuffed and Dole decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Burns's guard. Dole pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burns is keeping the position for now. Burns throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Dole won't allow Burns to sweep him here. Dole trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Dole controls from within his opponent's guard. Burns is trying to control the position but Dole postures up. Dole trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dole drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dole is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dole pushing down on Burns's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Burns makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Burns. Burns trying to control the position.
Dole drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dole jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Burns trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dole wants to pass the guard but Burns is keeping the position. Dole wants to control from the top but Burns keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Burns throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Burns keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Dole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Burns closes the distance looking to clinch and Dole counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Burns's guard now. Burns manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns trying to control but Dole is having none of it. Dole sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Burns is looking to take a break and control but Dole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dole is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Burns pulls his head out easily. Dole takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dole is staying active underneath Burns, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Burns content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dole moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Burns stays in close to Dole's body and controls the position. Burns trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Burns trying to control the position from guard on top but Dole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dole throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dole swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns won't allow Dole to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns wants to control from the top but Dole keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Burns misses with a takedown attempt and Dole counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Burns! Burns wants to control but Dole is having none of it. Burns regains half guard. Burns is defending against the submission attempts here by Dole.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dole seems to be looking for submissions.
Dole looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Burns is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dole is thwarting Burns's attempts to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Dole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dole has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
