Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryer Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihiko Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael comes to the cage accompanied by OTHERWISE - Coming For The Throne . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Akihiko Yamato was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Akihiko Yamato!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamato misses with a wild body shot.
Michael avoids the body shot from Yamato.
A quick step to the side and Michael tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yamato swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Michael counters with a left to the body.
Yamato checks the leg kick.
Yamato tries to clinch
and Michael counters with a right hand to the body.
Michael with a jab.
Michael looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamato is just out of range.
Yamato swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Michael throws a lazy uppercut
and Yamato counters with a left to the body.
Yamato is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Michael on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Michael looks for the body kick but Yamato saw that one coming.
Michael scores with a jab. Yamato acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Akihiko Yamato has been cut.
Yamato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Michael.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice straight punches there by Michael. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Michael.

Yamato misses with a low kick.
Yamato throws a right and a left that both miss.
Michael throws a quick counter kick to the body but Yamato avoids it.
Yamato thows a leg kick but Michael checks it
letting Michael counter with a right hand.
A big right from Michael misses.
Michael avoids the head kick by Yamato.
Yamato wants to clinch.
Michael slips a jab from Yamato.
Yamato rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Michael counter with a right hand.
A head kick misses from Michael.
Yamato is trying to counter with his kicks.
Yamato tries to clinch there but Michael circles away.
Michael walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Yamato checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Michael pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Michael fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yamato manages to avoid it.
Nice uppercut there from Yamato.
Yamato goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Michael. Yamato does a little dance to reset his feet.
Michael has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Michael on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Michael jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Yamato gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Michael gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bryer Michael!
