Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Swebsik Swebster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Pride FC - Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Swebsik Swebster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Adams!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a hook. Swebster ducked under it nicely.
Swebster looks for a takedown but Adams sprawls well.
Adams lands with a nice combination. Swebster backs away looking to recover.
Swebster walks into a straight right hand from Adams.
Adams misses with a straight right.
Adams digs a good hook to Swebster's body.
Adams lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Adams throws a body punch but Swebster moves out of range.
Swebster walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Adams lands with a cross.
Adams looks to land a left hand but Swebster moved out of range nicely.
Adams misses with a looping left.
Swebster appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swebster.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Swebster fails with a takedown attempt.

A left and a right from Adams both land. Nice combination.
Adams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swebster.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Swebsik Swebster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams throws the left hand but Swebster avoids the punch easily.
Swebster half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Adams lunges at Swebster with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Swebster's hand.
Swebster tries for a takedown but Adams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Adams misses with a two punch combination.
Adams jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Swebster appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Adams throws an off balance right hand

and Swebster counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Adams!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adams struggling a bit here.
Adams is letting Swebster control him for a moment.
Swebster's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Swebster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Swebster has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Adams is trying to control Swebster's posture but Swebster avoids it.

Swebster is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Swebster tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Adams is looking for a sweep.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adams can do anything to dispel that myth.

Swebster is working Adams over with some ground and pound from side control.
Swebster lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Adams down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Swebster has hold of Adams's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Adams seems comfortable defending it but Swebster has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Adams is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Adams is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Swebster couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Swebsik Swebster!
Swebsik Swebster was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
