Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryer Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, OTHERWISE - Coming For The Throne . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryer Michael! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edward Blake! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Michael was well out of range. Poor timing from Blake. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Michael.

Michael connects with a body shot. Blake swings for the body but Michael moves out of range.
Blake cracks the inside of Michael's front leg. Michael throws a body kick that misses. Blake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Michael throws out the jab. Michael misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Michael fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Blake on the side of the head. Blake connects with a solid leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michael slips under a jab from Blake. As Blake looks to move away, Michael throws a big counter combo but Blake just gets out of the way. Michael bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Blake's head. Blake scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice defenses there by Blake. Michael is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blake. A little jabbing left from Blake on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Michael thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake connects with a single shot there. Michael misses with a wild body shot. Blake connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nice shot by Blake. Blake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Michael.
Michael takes a swing at Blake's ribcage but misses. Blake has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Michael. Michael rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blake moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Blake throws a quick inside leg kick. Blake uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A low kick from Blake is predictable there and Michael counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Michael throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Blake looks like he wants to counter punch here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blake throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Michael counters with a good low kick that Blake was not able to check. Michael takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Michael on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Blake cracks Michael with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Michael wants to land a leg kick but Blake is out of range. Blake jabs at Michael's body. Michael connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blake. Blake circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Blake lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blake connects with an inside leg kick. Michael misses with a straight right. Michael tries to move into range but Blake moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Michael misses with a right hand and Blake counters with a nice uppercut. Blake lands a nice leg kick that just misses Michael's sensitive parts. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Blake - that will leave a mark!
Blake is looking to clinch. Blake is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Michael throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Blake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A bone on bone clash there as Michael blocks the leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Michael throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blake replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Michael blocks it well. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Blake.
Blake is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Michael had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Blake misses with a low kick.
Michael throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Blake counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Michael thinking. Blake lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Michael misses with a low kick.

and Blake counters with a series of strikes. Michael will be more careful next time no doubt. Blake connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Blake does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Blake comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Blake slips under a jab. Michael throws a push kick but Blake slaps the foot to one side. Michael moves out of range of the leg kick from Blake. Michael is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blake throws a sloppy body shot

Blake has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Blake has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Blake throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Michael on the side of the head. Blake lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Blake fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Michael manages to avoid it. Michael quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Michael cracks the inside of Blake's front leg. Good leg kick by Blake there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Michael stuns Blake with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Edward Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blake connects with a nice looking jab.

Blake chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Michael can pounce on him.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Blake avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Blake scores with a jab to the head.
Blake moves into range and connects with a jab. Michael paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Blake counters with a nice low kick that buckles Michael's knee momentarily. Michael throws a low kick but it's checked well by Blake. Blake on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Michael goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick from Blake lands but Michael takes it in his stride. Blake misses with a hook. A looping hook to the body misses from Michael. Blake does a little dance to reset his feet. Blake is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Blake tests Michael's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Michael lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blake circles away quickly and effectively. Michael misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Michael is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Michael misses with a hook. Blake ducked under it nicely. Blake misses with a low kick as Michael jumps back. Michael looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Michael takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Blake in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Blake lands a jab to the nose. A jab lands there for Blake.
And that's the end of the fight! Edward Blake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
