Moreira's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Moreira shoots in looking for a takedown. Pakaldo tries to sprawl out of it but Moreira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pakaldo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Moreira counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Moreira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pakaldo as he avoids it easily.

As Pakaldo looks to move away, Moreira throws a big counter combo but Pakaldo just gets out of the way.

Moreira uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pakaldo.
Moreira fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pakaldo is out of range.
Moreira looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Moreira is looking to advance position but Pakaldo won't allow it.

Pakaldo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moreira is working away from the top position though.
Pakaldo is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Moreira has latched onto it... Big trouble! Moreira pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Pakaldo is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Moreira!
