The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xander gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xander trying to control the position but Orange is working away.

Orange parries the strikes from Xander easily there. Xander is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Orange to escape.
Orange takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

It looks like Mr Orange has been cut.
Xander working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Xander is trying to ground and pound but Orange uses the momentary lack of control by Xander to regain half guard.
Xander prevents Orange from standing back up.
Xander throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Xander could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Orange is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Xander scores with a couple of nice shots.

Orange is rocked!
Xander lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Orange quite badly. Orange pulls Xander in close trying to recover. Xander postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Orange on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Orange doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
