Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akira Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Murphy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishikawa's entrance music is mindshift genki sudo. A fine choice. Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by perfect enemies. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Johnson scores with a one two! Ishikawa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ishikawa counters with a two punch combo.
Johnson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ishikawa counters with a right hand to the body.
Ishikawa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson stops Ishikawa from passing to mount.
Ishikawa scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Johnson to see if he's OK.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ishikawa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Johnson down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ishikawa connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Johnson some visible discomfort.
Johnson is rocked!
Ishikawa has an Americana. Johnson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ishikawa is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ishikawa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Akira Ishikawa!
