The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Wilder is looking to clinch.
Mouse misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Van Wilder goes for a double leg but Mouse avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mouse continues to drive forward.
Van Wilder lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
No joy there for Mouse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mouse misses with a jab, cross combination.
Van Wilder looks for the body kick but Mouse saw that one coming.
Mouse throws a right hand that Van Wilder ducks under and follows up with a left that Van Wilder also avoids with ease.
Van Wilder misses with a takedown attempt - Mouse sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mouse fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Van Wilder manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mouse ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mouse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mouse looks to land a combination. Van Wilder sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mouse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Van Wilder was well out of range. Poor timing from Mouse.
Mouse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Van Wilder tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mouse lands with a shot to the body.
A jab from Mouse finds it's way through Van Wilder's defenses.
Van Wilder has a takedown stuffed.
Mighty Mouse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cornelius Van Wilder.

Van Wilder misses with a leg kick.
Mouse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Van Wilder fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mouse comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mouse goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mouse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mouse feints with a jab and clips Van Wilder right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Van Wilder is sent crashing into the canvas and Mouse leaps in for the kill! Van Wilder tries to get to his feet but Mouse is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Van Wilder is in need of a savior and steps in!
