Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Eerkilaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toni Eerkilaa!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eerkilaa manages to avoid it.
Zeus Leonidas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eerkilaa moves out of range of the strikes.
Eerkilaa just misses with a punch to the body.
Eerkilaa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Leonidas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leonidas. Eerkilaa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leonidas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Leonidas wants to take a breather but Eerkilaa is having none of it.
Eerkilaa felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leonidas slows the pace down in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonidas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Eerkilaa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leonidas.

Leonidas tries to pass the half guard into mount. Eerkilaa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Leonidas is working for a kimura but Eerkilaa is defending it quite comfortably.
Eerkilaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Leonidas is trying to work for a kimura but Eerkilaa is defending well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Leonidas wants to work for an arm triangle but Eerkilaa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Leonidas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eerkilaa keeps working.
Leonidas is working for a kimura but Eerkilaa is defending it quite comfortably.
Leonidas wants to take a breather but Eerkilaa is having none of it.
Leonidas is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Eerkilaa!

Leonidas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Eerkilaa manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leonidas tries to score with some ground and pound. Eerkilaa controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Eerkilaa wants to control but Leonidas postures up.
Leonidas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eerkilaa has escaped the position, nice work there.
Leonidas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eerkilaa, who protects the arm well.
Leonidas remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Eerkilaa gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Leonidas wants to free his trapped foot but Eerkilaa is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Leonidas is keen to just control but Eerkilaa is a slippery customer.
Leonidas in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Eerkilaa tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Leonidas!

Zeus Leonidas was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
