Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darnell Olson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Schumacher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toni Schumacher is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darnell Olson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toni Schumacher! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Schumacher misses with a body kick. Toni Schumacher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schumacher closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Olson's guard. Olson is trying to hold Schumacher in close to prevent damage but Schumacher has managed to pass into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Olson is on top in guard.
Schumacher seems keen to control Olson's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schumacher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Schumacher keeping moving, preventing Olson from controlling successfully. Schumacher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Schumacher has his hands on Olson's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Schumacher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Olson is aware though and is defending well. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Schumacher pulls Olson in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Schumacher throws a sloppy head kick and Olson moves out of range easily. Schumacher gets a clinch. Schumacher prevents the takedown attempt.
Schumacher tries to circle away but Olson has him pinned against the cage. Olson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Olson tries to keep at a distance but Schumacher has taken the fight into the clinch. Olson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Olson gets control of Schumacher's arms and successfully pulls guard. Olson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Schumacher is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Schumacher throwing strikes from guard but Olson blocks nicely. Schumacher slips nicely into half guard. Schumacher stalling. Olson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schumacher is keen to just control but Olson is a slippery customer. Olson won't allow Schumacher to pass to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schumacher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Olson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schumacher. Schumacher gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Olson tries to clinch but Schumacher is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toni Schumacher dominated that round. That's time! Olson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Schumacher keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Olson's efforts to push away. Olson tries to circle away but Schumacher has him pinned against the cage. Olson is trying to force a seperation but Schumacher has the dominant position. Schumacher prevents Olson from breaking the clinch. Schumacher tries to stall but Olson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Olson tightens his grip and picks Schumacher up, before dumping him to the ground. Schumacher manages to land in guard. Schumacher manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Olson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Olson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Schumacher is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Olson's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schumacher slows the pace down in half guard. Schumacher is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schumacher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Schumacher sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Olson defending well though. Olson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Olson is refusing to be controlled, as Schumacher sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Olson throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Schumacher manages to pass to side control. Schumacher is looking to take a break and control but Olson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Schumacher is trying to ground and pound but Olson uses the momentary lack of control by Schumacher to regain half guard. Schumacher is looking to advance position but Olson won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schumacher blocks the strikes from Olson.
Schumacher wants to work for an arm triangle but Olson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Olson tries to roll over but Schumacher keeps him under control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Schumacher pushes Olson up against the cage in a clinch. Olson fails to pull guard.
Olson is trying to pull guard but Schumacher has him pressed against the cage. Olson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Schumacher after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darnell Olson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schumacher gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schumacher drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Schumacher jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schumacher is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Schumacher passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Olson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schumacher is pressing down on Olson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Olson is holding on for now. Olson gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toni Schumacher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Schumacher doesn't manage to clinch there - Olson circles away.
Olson shoots in for a double leg but Schumacher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Schumacher has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Schumacher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Schumacher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schumacher trying to control but Olson is working from the bottom. Olson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Schumacher tries to lock up and control but Olson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Olson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Schumacher is looking to escape. Schumacher wants to control but Olson is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olson prevents Schumacher from getting the reversal. Schumacher tries to hold on but Olson pushes him away. Toni Schumacher has got the better of the ground game so far. Schumacher is wriggling around trying to escape.
Schumacher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Olson trying to control but Schumacher is having none of it. Schumacher avoids a series of strikes thrown by Olson.
Schumacher manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Olson is going to stand back up.
Olson throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Schumacher to regain full guard. Olson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Olson stands up from Schumacher's guard - Olson perhaps looking for a knockout. Olson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Olson fails to pull guard.
Olson jumps guard but Schumacher turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darnell Olson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Schumacher pulls him back up using the underhooks. Olson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Schumacher is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Olson to the mat. Olson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Schumacher throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Schumacher stands up from guard. Let's bang! Schumacher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Olson's guard. Olson wants to control the position but Schumacher says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schumacher decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Schumacher scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Darnell Olson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Toni Schumacher is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Olson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! Toni Schumacher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Schumacher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
