Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannu Haapana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hannu Haapana!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haapana throws a head kick but Wallace moves out of range.
Wallace throws a big counter combination but Haapana scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Haapana throws a sloppy head kick and Wallace moves out of range easily.
Haapana thuds a left hand into Wallace's body.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wallace.

Haapana feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wallace sprawling to the canvas! Wallace rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Haapana finish him?!

Hannu Haapana spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Ryan Wallace had this to say: 'I'm going to look back and assess my skills. Hopefully I can come back stronger and much improved. Sorry to all my fans, but you can't win them all.'.
