Shaw comes to the cage accompanied by Silver Bullet - Bring Forth The Guillotine. Dovah-Kinn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Headhunterz - Dragonborn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Laat Dovah-Kinn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Laat Dovah-Kinn!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Dovah-Kinn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've been told by Shaw's head coaches at Netherlands Top Team & KT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dovah-Kinn lands with a good body shot.
Shaw tries a head kick but it misses.
Dovah-Kinn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Dovah-Kinn finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Dovah-Kinn loads up on a big right hand but Shaw slips the punch.
Shaw scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Laat Dovah-Kinn has been cut.
Dovah-Kinn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dovah-Kinn moves out of range of the strikes.
Dovah-Kinn throws a hook but Shaw blocks it.
Dovah-Kinn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dovah-Kinn ducks right into an uppercut from Shaw.
A head kick misses from Shaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dovah-Kinn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shaw throws a leg kick but Dovah-Kinn checks it.
Dovah-Kinn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dovah-Kinn blocks a head kick by Shaw.
Dovah-Kinn cracks Shaw with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dovah-Kinn jabs at Shaw's body.

Dovah-Kinn throws a sloppy head kick and Shaw moves out of range easily.
Dovah-Kinn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Shaw scores with a spinning back kick!
Dovah-Kinn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shaw throws a sloppy head kick
letting Dovah-Kinn counter with a right hand.
Shaw connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dovah-Kinn throws the kick towards the body but Shaw avoids it.

Dovah-Kinn tries to keep at a distance but Shaw has taken the fight into the clinch.
Shaw swings wildly with an uppercut but Dovah-Kinn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dovah-Kinn managing to block the knees to the body from Shaw.
Shaw lands a good knee to the midsection. Dovah-Kinn won't want to take too many of those.

Shaw breaks the clinch.
Good work by Shaw as he checks the leg kick.
Shaw throws a big counter combination but Dovah-Kinn scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Shaw looks to land a combination but Dovah-Kinn avoids it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dovah-Kinn throws a leg kick that misses.

Dovah-Kinn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dovah-Kinn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dovah-Kinn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Shaw's calf.
A head kick misses from Shaw.
A little jabbing left from Dovah-Kinn on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sloppy strikes from Shaw. Those never looked like landing.
Shaw throws a head kick but Dovah-Kinn moves out of range.
Shaw scores with a three punch combo!
Shaw throws a lazy head kick
and Dovah-Kinn counters with a nice body shot.
Dovah-Kinn looks to land a body kick but Shaw moved away.
Shaw walks into a jab.
Shaw moves out of range as Dovah-Kinn strikes.
Shaw wants to clinch but Dovah-Kinn slips to the side
and Dovah-Kinn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Shaw takes a swing at Dovah-Kinn's ribcage but misses.
Dovah-Kinn throws a jab but it's blocked by Shaw.
As Dovah-Kinn backs away, Shaw returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Shaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dovah-Kinn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaw moves away.
Dovah-Kinn lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Shaw falls backwards - clearly groggy! Dovah-Kinn dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Laat Dovah-Kinn!
During a confident post fight interview, Laat Dovah-Kinn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
