Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The Artist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Ua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artist comes into the arena with Limp Bizkit / Break Stuff blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Artist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mack Ua! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Artist shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ua manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ua has Artist pulled in close to control his posture. Artist trying to control the position from guard on top but Ua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Artist content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Artist throwing strikes but missing. Artist chips away with some ground and pound. Artist throws a strike but Ua rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ua looking to sit in guard and control but Artist gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ua controls Artist momentarily but Artist frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Artist with a flurry of punches that miss. Artist trying to control but Ua is working from the bottom. Artist throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Artist is fighting to break Ua's control of his arms but Ua is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Artist accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ua is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Artist lands a couple of decent looking shots. Artist working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ua's head. We've been hearing that Artist has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Artist makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Artist throws a strike but Ua rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ua is in close to Artist's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ua postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Artist is looking for a triangle but Ua pushes his legs off easily.
Ua missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Artist avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ua must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ua throwing strikes from guard but Artist blocks nicely. Ua with a flurry of punches that miss. Ua stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Artist throws up his legs and catches Ua in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Ua tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Artist! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). The Artist! A very excited looking The Artist made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
