Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dig by Incubus. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Thompson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Johnson drives through and clinches with Thompson against the cage.
Thompson tries to land knees in the clinch but Johnson avoids the damage to the body.
Johnson tries to land a knee to the head but Thompson blocks with his arms.
Thompson pulls guard.
Johnson gets to his feet. Thompson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Thompson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Thompson persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
Thompson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Johnson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Thompson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Thompson wants to hold on but Johnson pushes him away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Johnson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Thompson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Thompson and Johnson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Thompson tries to buck Johnson off but Johnson is having none of it.
Thompson is trying to get back to his feet.

Johnson unloads with some shots from mount but Thompson bucks and avoids them well.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Thompson gets caught flat footed, as Johnson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Johnson stands and steps away. Thompson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Thompson tries to clinch
and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Thompson fights it but they end up in guard.
Johnson throws and elbow that misses. Thompson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Johnson's guard. Nice move by Thompson!
Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thompson manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson stands up and waves to Thompson to follow him.
Johnson throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Thompson crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). David Johnson!
