Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward moves into the clinch.
Aihara is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Aihara is fighting off a takedown attempt but Woodward is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Aihara to the mat. Aihara regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Woodward seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woodward is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Woodward postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Aihara has his feet on Woodward's thighs here. He's pushed Woodward off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Woodward screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
