Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colton Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislav Arlovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Colton Martin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Colton Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stanislav Arlovsky!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovsky fails with a takedown attempt.

Martin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Arlovsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Martin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Arlovsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Martin has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arlovsky goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Martin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Arlovsky but great work by Martin.

Arlovsky drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Martin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Arlovsky has Martin in his guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Arlovsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

Arlovsky had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Martin defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Colton Martin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Arlovsky shoots in and gets a takedown into Martin's guard.

Arlovsky drops back, looking for a kneebar! Martin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Martin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Martin!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Arlovsky is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Martin rolls with it to try and escape but Arlovsky cranks on the arm and Martin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
