Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Nygren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mosh. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nygren fails with the takedown.
Nygren connects with a body shot.
Nygren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ortiz tries to avoid it but Nygren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ortiz to the ground. Ortiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nygren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ortiz swivels and escapes.
Tito Ortiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Nygren.
Nygren shoots in but Ortiz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ortiz moves out of range of the body kick from Nygren.
Nygren fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ortiz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nygren sprawls well initially but Ortiz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ortiz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
